Symptom
A white screen that says "Controller Connection Failed" pops up on screen. There are 3 button at the bottom MODIFY, RETRY, and SKIP.
How to prevent - Use Controller Mode
This screen pops up when a controller is not engaged within the first 60 seconds of boot up. If you push and hold the HOME button (pictured below) for about 2 seconds after the Pico is on. This will put you in controller mode. This will prevent this screen from ever appearing.
Exiting This Screen and Using GAZE to Select
When the white screen with "Controller Connection Failed" appears, you can exit and continue using the device. To do this you will need to push the SKIP button. Simply aim the cursor at the SKIP button. Then click the SELECT button, which is the middle button on the side of the headset, see diagram below.
NOTE: If you accidentally push "retry" the white screen will pop up again in about 1 minute. When it does, follow the instructions above to exit.
